Sara and Dennis' Most Excellent AdventureHow we spent the Easter WeekendApril 18 - 20, 2003
Friday morning, I had taken off from work so I had some time in the morning to cleanup the car. Emerald got the call, after all she is the GT (Grand Tourer), and we were getting ready to depart on a fairly major road trip. Our primary mission was to have a good time and drive the Coronado trail. The Coronado Trail was once called RT 666 or the old "Devil's Highway". It runs north & south along the boarder of Arizona and New Mexico.
It was warm and sunny as we left Phoenix and headed towards Globe. Sara was smiling and the cars was running great. We had lunch in Globe and headed-out to Show Low and out hotel room for the night. The trip up RT 60 was amazing. At times it felt like we were driving through the grand canyon.
We had a nice suite at the hotel the included a Jacuzzi.
