Personally developed and presented ILT training for the InterPrise, VoIP, family of products. Responsible for maintenance of ITU data network.

02/97-01/01 INTER-TEL INC. Sr. Technical Trainer, Inter-Tel University

Responsible for the development and presentation of all corporate technical training programs. Developed the five-day Advanced AXXESS Computer Telephony Integration training program. This is hands-on training for the integration of third-party applications with the AXXESS Telephone System utilizing the Open Architecture Interface of the system. Served as the Subject Matter Expert for the development of the Computer Based Training program for the Vocal’Net IP Telephony Gateway. Presented numerous private Vocal’Net classes for international clients and potential investors. Acted as design consultant for the new Chandler, Arizona training facility.

Manager of Repair facilities with 41 employees working multiple shifts. Responsible for planning and administration of a department budget of 2.5 million dollars. Duties included staffing, training, production planning and inventory control of corporate repair depot. Initiated and implemented a Customer Service group within the department. Interfaced with outside vendors to provide materials and services required to meet department objectives. Design, develop and implement department and corporate policies and procedures. Active participant in the continual quality improvement process. Leader of many TQM workgroups focused on providing a "customer oriented" service delivery system.

11/91-05/95 INTER-TEL INC. Technical Support &Training Department Manager

Full responsibility for all phases of technical support and technical training development and administration at a corporate level. Staff and train a highly technical department of 17 people with a annual budget of $600,000. Design, develop and implement department and corporate policies and procedures. Direct interface with all departments for problem resolution, product development/improvement and administration of in-house telecommunications systems. Active participant in the continual quality improvement process. Leader of many TQM workgroups. Responsible for design, development and presentation of technical training for direct dealers.

Primary technical contact for Premier Products. Responsible for identifying and resolving field problems. Direct interface with Engineering Department for product development and improvement. Developed additional training classes, i.e., ESPDX Advanced, ESPMDX, Computer Troubleshooting and MS-DOS. Senior Technical Expert for ESPDX, ESPMDX and Computers. Responsible for support to the field and Inter-Tel Technical Support personnel.

Provided technical assistance on all Inter-Tel/Premier systems nationwide. Technical trainer for Inter-Tel GX120 and ESPDX. Designed and developed technical training for ESPDX. Evaluated technical documentation for clarity and accuracy. Direct interaction with Engineering and Product Management. Assisted in product development.

Service technician assigned to Northern Virginia area. Serviced many types of Key and PBX systems. Primary coordinator for Inter-Tel/Premier ESP Beta Systems in the field.

09/84-02/86 CENTEL Key-Electronic Key-PBX Technician

Installation and service of 1A2 Key, Electronic Key and PBX systems. Performed weekly maintenance for large Northern Telecom accounts. All phases of switch work, battery back-up, power fail transfer, trunks (COT, DID, WATS, OPX, Paging), programming and troubleshooting.
